We are looking for a Program Manager – EU Logistics Capacity Management at EUPC (EU Planning & Capacity). As a Program Manager, you will drive change and improvements across the organization whilst always thinking about the bigger picture. You will pioneer new ways of thinking to deliver our mission for optimized customer speed and delivery accuracy. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, you will continuously scope out new solutions for ambiguous challenges. You will conduct your own research and analysis, always with an eye on the long-term vision of the business and the maximization of our customer experience. Key job responsibilities
- Create innovative solutions using data and analysis to address wider challenges in your organization; liaise with stakeholders across the entire Amazon operations business to implement these solutions.
- Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, creating processes for driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations.
- Work alongside leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, taking the lead in delivering them from start to finish and frequently reporting on the program status.
- Challenge the status quo on the outbound transportation and supply chain processes together with partner teams to create and manage an end-to-end EU capacity roadmap that drives excellence in delivering customer experience.
- Play a key role in planning and forecasting for Amazon’s key sales events, working with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the timing and accuracy of the forecast meets their needs.
A day in the lifeAs a Program Manager, you will drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You will use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan and steer decision making across large stakeholder groups. You will play a key role in driving the performance, innovation, and reliability of the end-to-end transportation teams, working cross-functionally with teams across the entire Amazon business. You will closely collaborate with partner teams to scope scalable solutions to optimize our end-to-end outbound supply chain.Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you will deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About the teamThe team specializes in end-to-end transport and supply chain optimization. The team has a Program Management and Analytics pillar to drive excellence in outbound operations planning.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
- Experience in program or project management.
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- Experience defining and executing program requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience leading process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
