This is an engineering-driven role building cutting-edge analytics and data-driven tools that empower traders, salespeople, and quantitative teams to make smarter, faster decisions. We are looking for creative engineers passionate about building high-performance solutions in a fast-paced environment and applying your technical expertise directly to front office challenges.
Essential Skills:
- Python, FastAPI (or experience with similar Python-based web frameworks).
- Commercial software development experience (including relevant development tools) in Python.
- Experience of UI development using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Proven track record of project delivery, ideally covering the entire project lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Experience of data visualization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Purpose of the role:
To design, develop, implement, and support analytics-based applications used in business decision making.
Accountabilities:
- Development and implementation of quantitative models and strategies to derive insight into market trends and optimize trading decisions, pricing, and risk management across various financial products and markets.
- Working closely with sales teams to identify clients’ needs and develop customized solutions.
- In-depth research, data analysis, and statistical modeling to derive insights into market trends, pricing, and risk dynamics.
- Provide front office infrastructure support through ownership and maintenance of analytical libraries.
- Provision of expertise on quantitative methodologies, technological advancements, and industry best practices to drive innovation within the trading environment.
